Flotta 10k and 5k All Age Fun Run – Results

The blustery conditions ensured that there were to be no new time records set at the 2018 Flotta 10k, however, despite the weather conditions a record number of entries were welcomed – with 66 runners and walkers crossing the finish line.

Davie Macleod was first home in a time of 38.48 and also collected the Veteran Male trophy, with Colin Barnett claiming the Senior Male trophy with his second place time of 39.12.

First lady across the line was Senior Female winner Emma Horne with a time of 44.00 and collecting the Veteran Female trophy, in a time of 50.26 was Susan Webb.

First Flotta 10k runner was recently arrived resident Graham Ward.

There was an equally large turnout in the 5k All Age Fun Run, with almost 40 runners, walkers, scooter riders and buggies taking on the new route.

First runner home was 11 year old Finn Aberdein in a time of 22.23 with second place and Female 5k trophy winner going to 10 year old Zara Macleod in a time of 26.51.
