Club Development Officer Update

We are delighted to announce that the Club has a new Development Officer – well, two in fact!!

Carolynn Leslie started in the role this week, and Anthea Hume will be joining her in a job-share from mid-July.

Sam Hunter, who came to Orkney to take up this position in April, decided not to stay and we are delighted that Carolynn and Anthea have agreed to take up the role.

Many of you will know Carolynn as a former athlete and valued member of the coaching team, and Anthea who was Club Together Officer until last year.

Carolynn will focus on supporting and developing the Coaching Team and athlete pathways, while Anthea will concentrate on administration, arranging training courses, securing funding etc

Carolynn and Anthea bring a great mix of skills to the role and we look forward to them working together to take the Club forward.

There is a lot happening at the Club and we are planning an event in the autumn to which all members will be invited, where more information about our future plans will be shared and discussed.

Date to follow – watch this space!!
